The Steel Cauldron's Spellbinding Half Term
Whether you are looking for a cosy place for breakfast, a fun family activity or a special place for lunch we have a range of sessions and events this half term. We will be open every day from Tuesday 8th to Sunday 27th February to cover all South Yorkshire half term dates and inset days.
Half Term Events:
Day Time at the Steel Cauldron
Join us for food, drink and optional craft activities throughout the week. Our crafts are wand making, dragon eggs, potion bottles and pot painting.
Every day from Tuesday 8th to Sunday 27th February. £5 deposit per person in advance which will be deducted from the bill on the day. A wide range of food and drink will be on offer during the session, menus may differ depending on the time of day.
Wand Workshop,
Join our resident wizards as they guide you in a very special wand workshop. Make your very own magical wand and learn how to use it with a short course in rudimentary wand skills and wand duelling tournament! Fun for both young and slightly more wizened wizards.
Tuesday 15th at 4pm, Thursday 17th at 4pm and Saturday 19th February at 10.30am & 4pm.
£8 per participant. A wide range of food and drink will be on offer during the session, menus may differ depending on the time of day.
Wizard School,
Come along with family and friends and learn a variety of magical skills from resident tutor Professor Carter in our ever-popular Wizard school.
Saturday 12th February at 9.45am, Tuesday 15th February at 10am, Thursday 17th February and Saturday 26th February at 9.45am.
£8 per participant including a magical prop to take home. A wide range of food and drink will be on offer during the session, menus may differ depending on the time of day.
Eat, Drink and Owls
The fantastic Flying Squadron will be joining us during Half Term to bring you an awesome aerial display from their wonderful owls. Enjoy one of our magical potions while Professor Alba leads a fascinating talk and flying demonstration, letting her wonderful owls soar across teapot tavern. This will be followed by our food service and a selfie opportunity.
Sunday 13th February at 10.20am & 3.40pm, Monday 14th February at 10.00am & 4pm, Wednesday 16th February at 10.00am & 4pm, Friday 18th February at 10.00am & 4pm, Sunday 20th February at 10.20 & 15.40am and Monday 21st February at 10am & 4pm.
£5 per person. The Owls will make visits to The Steel Cauldron on most Sundays, but please check on our website before coming to avoid disappointment.
