🎄Join us this Christmas in our magical, festive abode.
Our Christmas Santa Experiences will start at the beginning of December, so check out our sessions and times below.
These sessions do book up quickly, so book early to avoid disappointment.
We'll be open our usual term time hours until the kids break up on Friday Dec 19th. We are then open every day up to Christmas.
Sessions on Monday 22nd & Tuesday 23rd December are slightly different to the Santa Experience - see below
Wreath Making Workshop
SATURDAY 29TH NOVEMBER
5PM -8PM
Get your Christmas decorating started here!!
We've joined up with the fabulous floral team at Monica F Hewitt to bring you a magical wreath making workshop here at The Steel Cauldron
🎀All materials will be provided for you to make a stunning Christmas wreath - plus the option to purchase extra decorations if desired.
🎄 One of the experienced florists from Monica F Hewitt, will give a full demonstration on how to crate your lovely wreath
🌿You will then be able to get creative and make your own wreath to take home (Drinks and mince pies will served at this time before you get stuck into creating your beautiful wreath)
✨ Support will be provided throughout the class
🍷Includes a glass of mulled wine (or non-alcoholic beverage) and a mince pie (other beverages and cakes will also be available for purchase during the workshop)
✂️The only things you need to bring is yourself and a pair of scissors**
Workshop duration approx. 3 hours
🎟️Price: £50 per person
Monica F Hewitt are a local florist based in Hillsborough. They have been creating beautiful bunches of flowers and floral displays since 1971.

Santa Experience
Come along and join 🎅Santa at The Steel Cauldron, which has been transformed into the Sheffield elf recovery Centre. Help Santa return the ✨sparkle back to elves who have lost their magic (All proceeds support Shelf Elves return to their homes!!😜)
On arrival, you will be met by one of our staff elves. They will show you to your seats, take your food and drink order and even provide you with colouring and song sheet.
The big man himself with then join us, lead the room in Christmas merriment and individually visit each table to chat with children and provide photo opportunities. Each child will receive a small gift too🎁
Cost: £6 per person (any age), plus cost of food and drink ordered on the day (pay on day).
Food options may vary depending on time of day (Breakfast will be served at 10am and 11am Santa Experience), Lunch menu at sessions thereafter.
Session time: 90 minutes

Festive Food & Santa's Grotto
Mon 22nd December // Sessions from 10am - 2:30pm
Tues 23rd December // Sessions from 10am - 2:30pm
Come along and join us for some 🎄festive food, drink, crafting
and a visit to Santa’s grotto🎅
On arrival you will be met by one of our Cauldron elves, who will show you to your seats, take your food and drink orders and provide you with colouring.
Christmas crafting is optional and can be ordered at the same time as food and drink.
During your visit, one of our elves will come and get you from your table and take you to
🎅Santa’s grotto.
Each child will receive a small gift from Santa🎁
Total session time – 90 minutes
Cost: £8 per child, plus cost of food and drink ordered on the day (pay on day)
**PLEASE BOOK FOR EVERY PERSON ATTENDING ON THE DAY**
Cost of £8 will only be charged for children wanting to visit the grotto.
Food options may vary depending on time of day
(Breakfast will be served until 11:30am, Lunch menu at sessions thereafter.)
**WE TAKE A £5 PER PERSON DEPOSIT PAYABLE WHEN BOOKING,**
THIS WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM YOUR TOTAL BILL ON THE DAY
(When booking, book for everyone who needs a seat or high chair -
this enables us to give you a table big enough)
Storytime with Santa
Santa will be visiting on weekday mornings (Thursday & Friday) during December. Santa will join us at our usual Baby & toddler group, there will still be toys throughout the Cauldron and Santa will visit for the whole session. To end the session Santa will read a🎄Christmas story or two, then finish with a few Christmas songs. Optional pics with Santa and gift🎁 at the end of the session. Ideal for under 5's.
Session time: 10am-11:30am
Enjoy some festive food and a warming winter drink while the little'uns have a play.
Cost: £5 per child
