Hosted by our very own story telling and musical maestro, Tom "Tales for the" Garside, hosts a fun night that changes every week.  We now have some amazing regular groups and solo performers but are always looking for more.

Performances will begin at 8.15pm and finish at 10.30 with closing at around 11pm. Your £5 booking fee will be deducted from you drinks and snacks. (no refunds will be made) Greek food available from our friends at Zorbas.

EVERY WEEK AT TALES AND TUNES IS DIFFERENT!

Please do come down and support local business and local musicians.  There will be a "hat" on the night to which we encourage non-performers to contribute x

If you are interested in performing email wizards@thesteelcauldron.co.uk and let us know what you can do!

Live Music and Words at Tales and Tunes

Check out some of our acts!

Do I need to book?

Yes, please book for every body in the building.  We need to know for allocating tables and social distancing how many people will be in the building. The deposits will be taken off your total bill.   There might be walk-in space on the night but seating is strictly limited to 40 so we strongly recommend booking.

Can I get food?

Sure can, check out the menu here (it is the ZORBA'S food we serve on Sunday Nights)

Can children come?

We are keen to encourage families to take part in activities together and as such have a licence that allows 14+ in the bar with an adult until 10pm.  Tales and Tunes might have songs and acts with more adult themes but we feel it is suitable for reasonably broadminded parents with 14+ children.

Can I perform?

Sure can, pop down, watch a night and then speak to Tom or email.  We are always keen to have new musicians.
