📸 #StrikeAPaws – Doggy Selfie Frames at Cathedral Green
When: 5–8 July
Where: Outside Sheffield Cathedral
🐾 Taking place just outside of the Sheffield Cathedral, this is a feel-good outdoor installation with dog-themed selfie frames—perfect for a quirky city centre photo walk.
Great for kids and furry friends alike or, there’s a certain Little Owl in Broomhill who also loves being in front of the camera…Pop along to one of our Eat, Drink and Owl sessions and grab yourself a selfie with a Smidge, our Little Owl!
🎪 Dore Scouts Gala
When: Saturday 12 July, 1–5:30 PM
Where: Dore Recreation Ground
This community event is packed with games, stalls, and live performances.
There will be donkey rides, a bungee trampoline, go carts, bouncy castles & inflatables, a traditional amusement arcade, frisbee golf, a treasure trail, archery, plant, books and toys stalls and much more.
Expect classic gala fun with a welcoming local vibe.
🎒 It’s a lovely way to let off steam before settling down with a story or spell at one of Sheffield’s more enchanted venues. (You know where we are 😜)
🎨 Colour & Movement Workshop – Millennium Gallery
When: Saturday 12 July
Where: Millennium Gallery
Children can explore colour through movement to music, shapes, patterns and poetry in this free, creative workshop. It’s interactive, imaginative, and right next door to the Winter Gardens—ideal for a full day of city centre discovery.
🎨 Inspired artists might want to keep the creativity flowing with a wand, potion bottle or dragon egg later on. Crafting is available at any of our Day Time at The Steel Cauldron sessions.
